"Don't Put Me In A Box"

Ryan Whyte Maloney shows his diverse talent with the hit single , “Don’t Put Me In a Box”, which was released in December 2022. He showcases his wide use of genres and decades of musical influences. The song was written about being yourself and having many sides that don’t conform to one style or idea. The music video was filmed in Ryan’s hometown of Traverse CIty, Michigan where Ryan can be seen at local fishing holes, farmland and driving a tractor AND where he currently resides in Las Vegas; driving his Cadillac Escalade around town or rocking out in front of a local popular country bar, Stoney’s.

The song inspires others to be themselves and to embrace and express all the many facets of their personality. It removes the concept of being labeled due to where you live, what you wear, what you do for a living and how others perceive you. It’s a strong message that embodies freedom from the societal pressure to portray oneself a certain way and to suppress your true inner spirit.

Ryan recently signed with Belle Chasse Records; and plans to release several hit singles including, “Don’t Put Me In a Box”, “I’m Gonna Live” and more! He will be on tour later in 2023.
